Advanced Nutrients Revive - First-Aid Feed for Stressed Plants
Best for: growers with plants showing stress, deficiency or shock symptoms — yellowing, wilting, transplant shock — who need a fast corrective feed.
Our thoughts
Revive won't fix bad roots or a genuine disease problem, but for the classic "my plant's gone yellow and sad overnight" panic, it's a genuinely useful bottle to keep on the shelf. Calcium, magnesium and chelated iron cover most of the deficiency symptoms new growers panic about, and the dosing is simple enough that you're not going to make things worse by guessing. At £8.99 for the 250ml size, it's cheap insurance against losing a plant to something a dose of cal-mag and iron would have sorted.
Revive is a corrective nutrient supplement built around chelated calcium, magnesium and iron, with an NPK of 1-0-0 driven by urea, which releases nitrogen gradually rather than in one hit. It's designed to correct nutrient lockout, transplant shock, and the pale or yellowing leaves that come with calcium, magnesium or iron deficiency — the "yellow plant syndrome" symptoms that are easy to misdiagnose.
It works three ways: as a stronger corrective dose mixed into the reservoir when a plant is already showing symptoms, as a foliar spray for faster visible uptake, or at a lower rate folded into a normal feeding schedule as ongoing cal-mag-iron support. It's compatible with any base nutrient brand and any growing system — soil, coco or hydro.
How it compares
Revive sits a step up from a plain cal-mag additive.
- It goes further than straightforward calcium-magnesium supplements like General Hydroponics CALiMAGic or VitaLink CalMag by adding chelated iron and slow-release urea nitrogen, covering a wider spread of stress symptoms from one bottle rather than just Ca and Mg.
- Against CANNA's Calmag Agent, which is built primarily for long-term buffering of soft or RO water, Revive is positioned as a short-course corrective treatment for an active problem rather than a permanent part of every feed.
- It's stated as fully compatible with pH Perfect and non-pH Perfect base nutrients from any manufacturer, so it's a fair "grab and fix" bottle regardless of what you're already feeding.
If your plants are healthy, you don't need this in the cupboard yet — but the moment something looks off, it's a low-risk first move before you start guessing at bigger changes.
Usage guidance
Three application methods depending on how urgent the problem is.
Corrective dose
Mix 5ml per litre into the nutrient solution when a plant is showing clear deficiency or stress symptoms. Repeat after a week if symptoms haven't cleared.
Foliar spray
Mix 3ml per litre and spray directly onto leaves for faster visible correction. Avoid spraying under intense light, and repeat after a week if needed.
Regular feeding
Add 1ml per litre to your normal feed as ongoing calcium, magnesium and iron support, particularly useful in coco where these elements get locked out more easily.

Who this is for
- Growers dealing with yellowing, wilting or stressed plants who need a targeted fix rather than a full nutrient overhaul
- Anyone recovering plants after transplant shock, under/overwatering or a missed feed
- Coco growers who want extra cal-mag-iron cover as part of a regular schedule
- Not a substitute for fixing root disease, pest damage or a genuinely broken feeding schedule — treat the cause as well as the symptom
Our take
Revive earns its place as the bottle you reach for when something's gone visibly wrong and you need calcium, magnesium and iron back into the plant fast, without overthinking the dose. It's simple, hard to misuse, and works with whatever base nutrients you're already running.
One we sell a lot of for new growers — worth having in the cupboard before you need it.
