Maxibright Daylight LED 1030w Pro Grow Light - Maxibright's Most Powerful LED Fixture
Best for: Serious growers running a room up to around 1.8m square who want the highest efficiency in the Daylight LED range and are prepared to pay for it.
Our thoughts
This is the top of the Maxibright Daylight ladder - same ten-bar design as the standard 1030w, but pushed to a genuinely high 2.7 µmol/W efficiency. If you're running a bigger room and every watt matters to your electricity bill, the jump in efficiency over the standard 1030w model pays for itself over time.
The Maxibright Daylight LED 1030w Pro is the flagship fixture in the Daylight range, sharing the standard 1030w's ten-bar clip-on frame but built with more efficient diodes to push fixture efficiency up to 2.7 µmol per watt. That translates to a total PPF of 2781 µmol/s, delivering an almost perfectly even spread across grow spaces up to 1.8m square, with the frame folding to under 1.2m square for transport at a working footprint of 112cm x 106.5cm x 8cm.
Like the rest of the range, it runs on passive heatsink cooling with no internal fans, assembles in minutes using easy-fit clip-on bars, and includes a dimmer that steps output down in 25% increments. It's rated for over 50,000 hours (roughly 11.42 years on a 12/12 cycle) and comes with a 4-year manufacturer's warranty.
How it compares
At 2.7 µmol/W, this is Maxibright's highest-efficiency Daylight fixture, putting it in direct competition with premium large-format LEDs from Gavita and HLG.
- Against the standard Daylight 1030w (2.3 µmol/W, 2369 µmol/s), the Pro delivers more usable light per watt for a higher upfront price - worth it for growers running the light for long hours where efficiency compounds over time.
- Compared with Gavita's high-end LED range, which uses a similar wide-bar "spider" layout, the Pro is competitively efficient and typically comes in below Gavita on price.
- Against HLG's flagship fixtures, which are known for class-leading efficiency, the Pro is a strong mid-to-high-tier alternative without HLG's premium pricing.
This is Maxibright's answer to the top end of the LED market - not the absolute ceiling on efficiency, but close to it, at a noticeably lower price than the very top brands.
Usage guidance
Getting the most from a fixture this powerful comes down to hanging height, dimming and room size.
Assembly
Clip the ten bars onto the central frame - no tools required, and the whole fixture goes together in a matter of minutes.
Hanging height and dimming
Hang higher and dim down during propagation and early veg, then lower the fixture and increase power as the canopy fills in, using the 25% increment dimmer to fine-tune intensity through to flowering.
Room size
This fixture is built for rooms up to 1.8m square - in a standard 1.2m tent it will be more light than you need, so consider the standard 660w or 480w Pro instead.
Running cost
Because it's more efficient per watt than the standard 1030w, expect a lower electricity cost for the same light output over a full flowering cycle.

Who this is for
- Growers with a room up to 1.8m square who want the most efficient light in the Daylight range
- Anyone running lights for long hours where per-watt efficiency affects running costs significantly
- Growers upgrading from the standard 1030w or from HPS lighting in a larger space
- Buyers who want premium-tier performance without paying the very top-end brand premium
Best suited to larger single rooms or small commercial setups rather than compact tents.
Our take
This is Maxibright at its most efficient - a genuinely high-output fixture that holds its own against premium large-format LEDs while staying below their price point.
If you're running a big space and want the best efficiency Maxibright offers, this is the one to go for. Proper kit at a price that makes sense for what you're getting.
