Mammoth TT Extraction Kit with Lite Filter — Complete Air Exchange System at Budget Pricing
Best for: Growers needing proper odour control and air extraction without the premium price tag
Our thoughts
This is a proper bit of kit at a price that actually makes sense. You get a twin-speed fan with real control, a decent carbon filter with Australian RC 48 charcoal, and all the ducting to connect it up. No guessing what goes with what — everything's matched and ready to go. One we sell a lot of for first-time extraction setups.
The Mammoth TT Extraction Kit with Lite Filter is a complete air extraction system designed to handle what your grow space needs most: removing hot, stale, CO2-depleted air and replacing it with fresh, cool, oxygen-rich air. Built around the workhorse Mammoth TT twin-speed inline fan paired with a Mammoth Lite carbon filter, this kit gives you everything needed for effective odour control and environmental management. Duct, clips, and carbon filter included — just connect and run.
How it compares
The Mammoth TT sits in the budget-conscious tier of extraction systems, competing directly with basic AC fan and hobby filter kits.
-
Twin-speed control included — most budget kits force you to buy a speed controller separately; this one's built in
-
38mm carbon bed — thicker than most other budget filters, meaning better odour absorption and longer service life
-
High-grade RC 48 Australian charcoal — the same quality carbon you'll find in mid-range filters, not cheap substitutes
-
Everything matched and ready — no sizing headaches, no buying separate ducting or worrying about diameter mismatches
You're paying for simplicity and proper function, not brand premium. That's the Growers House difference.
Usage guidance
Air extraction works by creating a slight negative pressure in your grow space, pulling stale air out and fresh air in. Here's how to set it up properly:
Basic setup and installation
Configuration runs: Carbon Filter → Duct Clip → Ducting → Duct Clip → Mammoth TT Fan → Duct Clip → Ducting. The kit includes everything you need to make these connections. Job done.
Speed selection
The Mammoth TT gives you two fan speeds. In cooler months, run the lower setting to save energy and keep noise down. When temperatures spike, flip to high speed to pull harder and combat heat. It's basic control, but it's control — and it costs nothing extra.
Intake and airflow balance
For best results, your intake airflow should be around 20% less than your extraction airflow. This keeps fresh air flowing through the filter before it escapes. In small tents, opening vents works fine. For anything 1.2m × 2.4m and larger, run an active intake fan to balance the system properly.
Odour control and filter placement
The Mammoth Lite carbon filter kills odours before they reach the room. Place it at the start of your ducting run (before the fan) for maximum efficiency. The filter won't create excessive 'drag' on the fan, so you get full airflow without compromise.
Maintenance
Replace the carbon filter every 6–12 months depending on use. More frequent replacement needed in high-humidity or hot environments. The fan itself is maintenance-free — just occasional dust checks on intake vents.

Filter replacement life: 6–12 months (depending on environmental conditions and usage)
Who this is for
- First-time growers building their first extraction setup and wanting to get it right without overspending
- Budget-conscious growers running small-to-medium tents or rooms
- Anyone wanting basic but effective odour control without complex controllers or premium filters
- Growers who value simplicity — all components pre-matched, no compatibility guessing
- Those replacing worn extraction systems and looking to save without sacrificing performance
Best suited to setups where straightforward air exchange and odour management matter more than advanced electronic control or ultra-quiet operation.
Our take
This is a proper extraction kit at a price that makes sense. You get twin-speed control, decent carbon with a thick 38mm bed, and everything needed to connect it up without hunting for extras. It does exactly what extraction should do — removes hot, stale air and gives you odour peace of mind.
If you're building your first grow setup or replacing old extraction kit, this is worth picking up while clearance stock lasts. No faffing about, no oversizing, no unnecessary spend. Just good value extraction that works.
