Ionic Coco Bloom - One-Part Flowering Nutrient for Coco Coir
Best for: coco coir growers who want a single-bottle flowering feed without mixing multi-part nutrient lines.
Our thoughts
We like Ionic Coco Bloom because it strips feeding back to one bottle when most coco nutrients want you juggling two or three. It's a proper Growth Technology formula, not a budget knock-off, and it's priced well below the multi-part coco kits from the bigger brands. Good option if you want fewer bottles cluttering the shelf.
Ionic Coco Bloom is a one-part liquid nutrient from Growth Technology, formulated specifically for the flowering stage of plants grown in coco coir. Rather than splitting macro and micronutrients across an A and B bottle like most coco feeds, Ionic packs the full mineral profile - an NPK of around 1.5-1.4-3.1 - into a single stable solution, using chelated minerals so nutrients stay available to the plant rather than locking out in the root zone.
It's designed to be used at up to 7ml per litre of water, with Growth Technology recommending an EC of around 1.5 for coco growing, and it's pH-buffered so it doesn't swing your reservoir around the way some cheaper feeds can.
How it compares
Ionic's one-part format is the main thing that separates it from the rest of the coco nutrient shelf.
- Canna Coco A+B and House & Garden Coco A&B both split nutrients across two bottles; Ionic Coco Bloom does the same job from one
- Costs meaningfully less per litre than General Hydroponics FloraSeries when you factor in only needing a single bottle
- Trades some of the fine-tuning control that two-part systems give experienced growers for genuine simplicity
If mixing two-part nutrients accurately isn't something you enjoy, this removes that step entirely.
Usage guidance
Dosage
Use up to 7ml per litre of water during the flowering stage, adjusting down if your reservoir EC climbs above the recommended 1.5.
Switching from Coco Grow
Move from Ionic Coco Grow to Coco Bloom at the switch to 12/12 or when you see the first signs of flowering, mixing at the same 7ml/L rate.
Water source
Works with tap or RO water; if using RO, pair with a cal-mag supplement such as Ionic Cal-Mag Pro since coco needs extra calcium and magnesium.

Our take
For coco growing, one bottle covering the whole flowering feed is genuinely useful, not just a gimmick - fewer things to measure out means fewer chances to get a feed wrong. Coco Bloom does the job Ionic built it for without fuss.
Does exactly what it should, day in, day out.
