Usage guidance
Fitting
Slide the clamp over the ducting and onto the spigot, then turn the screw with a flat-head screwdriver or nut driver until the band sits snug and the seam lies flush.
Getting an airtight seal
Don't overtighten to the point of denting thin ducting - snug and even pressure around the whole band is enough to stop air leaking out at the joint.
Maintenance
Loosen and re-fit whenever you change ducting length, add an inline booster fan, or service an existing extraction run - it's reusable, not a single-use fitting.
