It uses a three-layer construction - aluminium foil, a PET layer, then a second layer of aluminium foil - with a flame-retardant coating, so it holds up to continuous extraction, heat and humidity without collapsing or tearing the way thinner single-layer ducting can.
Built-in steel wire reinforcement keeps the duct's shape under airflow and lets it flex around corners and tight spaces without kinking. It's rated for a wide temperature range, from well below freezing up to around 130°C, and comes with stainless steel duct clamps included for a secure, airtight connection straight out of the box.

Support
Where ducting runs any distance, give it some support along the way rather than letting the full length hang unsupported, which can pull joints loose over time.
