Trimzilla Warrior Cut Leaf 18" Automatic Power Trimmer - Fast Fill-and-Spill Trimming
Best for: Growers with larger harvests who need to trim fast without spending hours hand-trimming leaf by leaf.
Our thoughts
Hand trimming a big harvest is a genuine chore, and this takes a serious chunk of that time back. It's a proper motorised unit rather than a gimmick - the three speed settings mean you can slow it right down for delicate material or run it fast for a big volume job. Not a product for a couple of plants, but for anyone processing real quantity it's a different world.
The Trimzilla Warrior Cut Leaf 18" is an automatic power trimmer built around fill-and-spill technology - you drop material into the top of the drum, and a rotating 1.3mm stainless steel grate trims leaves as the material tumbles inside, letting debris and offcuts fall through into a recovery chamber underneath rather than piling up on your work surface. It runs at three speed settings (1000, 1250 or 1500 RPM), so you can match trim aggression and speed to how delicate the material is.
How it compares
Sits in the automatic/motorised category of trimmers, above manual crank-driven units in speed and above small handheld trimmers in capacity.
- Versus manual crank-driven leaf trimmers like Trimpro's Original and Rotor models, the Trimzilla's motor does the work for you, which matters a lot once you're processing volume rather than a handful of plants.
- Versus other motorised bowl-style trimmers such as SpinPro, both use a similar fill-and-process approach, but the Trimzilla's three-speed motor and 1.3mm grate give you more control over trim aggression for different material.
- Versus hand trimming with scissors, this is a large step up in speed for bigger harvests, though hand trimming still wins on precision for show-quality individual buds.
A genuine time-saver for volume, priced accordingly - it's an investment that pays off once you're regularly processing more than a small personal harvest.
Usage guidance
Loading
Feed material into the top of the drum in manageable batches rather than overfilling, so the grate can process it evenly rather than jamming under too much volume at once.
Speed selection
Start on the lowest of the three RPM settings (1000 RPM) for delicate or wet material, and move up to 1250 or 1500 RPM for drier, tougher material that can handle a faster trim.
Debris management
Empty the bottom recovery chamber regularly during a long trimming session to keep offcuts and debris moving through rather than building up and affecting the trim quality.
Cleaning
Clean the stainless steel grate between sessions, particularly with resinous material, to keep the 1.3mm cutting edges working effectively and stop residue building up.

Who this is for

- Commercial or semi-commercial operations trimming regularly at volume
- Anyone currently hand-trimming for hours who wants to reclaim that time
- Growers who want adjustable speed to handle both delicate and tougher material
Not aimed at growers with just a plant or two to trim - this earns its price at real volume.
Our take
This is a serious piece of kit for anyone trimming more than a small personal harvest, and the three-speed control means it's not a one-setting blunt instrument - you can dial it back for delicate material. It's a bigger spend than scissors, but the time saved on a large harvest speaks for itself.
One we sell a lot of for growers who've reached the point where hand trimming just isn't practical any more. Proper kit for the job.
