Ecothrive Eco-Life Supercharged Soil - Ready-Fed Organic Potting Mix (End of Line)
Best for: organic growers who want a potting mix that already contains everything the plant needs, no liquid feeding required.
Our thoughts
Ecothrive made their last batch of Eco-Life back in January 2025 and moved production over to their newer Living Soil formula, so what's on our shelves is genuinely end-of-line stock, not a product being wound down for any other reason. It's the same soil that's built a loyal following over the years. If you've used it before, or just want a fully organic, feed-free mix at a lower price than the current Living Soil, it's worth grabbing while it's still around.
Eco-Life Supercharged Soil is a fully organic potting mix developed by Ecothrive in collaboration with Indoor Organics. All the nutrition your plants need through their life cycle is built into the medium itself, so there's no liquid feeding schedule to manage, just water. Because it's organic, the end result is a clean product with good flavour and aroma development, which is why it built a strong following among soil growers before Ecothrive discontinued it in favour of their newer Living Soil range.
As stock is limited and won't be restocked by the manufacturer, this is genuinely a one-time buy rather than a product you can keep reordering.
How it compares
Eco-Life sits in the same "just add water" organic soil category as a handful of well-known mixes.
- Like Biobizz All-Mix, it's a pre-fertilised organic soil that needs no separate base nutrients for most of the grow.
- Ecothrive's own successor, Living Soil, builds on the same idea with a coco-based formula and added biochar, but Eco-Life remains a solid, proven mix in its own right.
- Compared to a bare soil mix paired with something like Canna Terra Professional nutrients, Eco-Life removes the feeding schedule almost entirely.
You get a tried-and-tested organic soil at a lower price than the current range, with the trade-off that once it's gone, it's gone.
Usage guidance
Eco-Life is built to be simple, which is exactly what makes it a good beginner soil.
Filling containers
Fill your pots with the mix, transplant your seedlings or clones, and keep the soil evenly moist.
Watering
Avoid letting it dry out completely or become waterlogged. Even, consistent moisture keeps the organic feeding process working properly.
Topping up nutrition
If plants show signs of hunger later in a long flowering cycle, a light organic top-dress or liquid feed can extend the mix's natural nutrient supply.

Not the choice if you specifically want Ecothrive's current-generation soil, since Living Soil has now taken over that role.
Our take
This isn't a case of a product being pulled because something went wrong, Ecothrive simply moved on to a newer formula. What's left is exactly the same organic soil that earned its reputation in the first place.
Worth picking up now if you want a genuinely feed-free organic grow at a lower price than the current range, since this is end-of-line stock that the manufacturer won't be making again.
