This is the AutoPot trick shrunk down into a simple holiday-cover kit. No electrics, no pump, nothing to fail while you're away - just gravity and a float valve doing exactly what it's designed to do. Cheap peace of mind for anyone who's ever come back from a week off to crispy plants.
The Easy2Go kit uses the same AQUAvalve5 technology found in AutoPot's full growing systems, just packaged for temporary or occasional use. Sit your plant's tray on the valve, connect a length of pipe to a water container, and the valve tops the tray up to a set depth automatically whenever the level drops - all done by gravity, with no pump or electrical equipment involved anywhere in the system.
The kit includes an AQUAvalve5, a valve cover, a circular spirit level for setting it up correctly, an inline filter, a golf filter, a grommet for feeding pipe through a container wall, and around 1.5 metres (5ft) of 3/8" pipe. You'll need your own reservoir - AutoPot recommends a minimum 8 gallon (roughly 30 litre) container - and a flat-based tray at least 30mm deep to sit the plant pot in.
How it compares
Easy2Go sits in a slightly different lane to most holiday-watering solutions because it needs no power or water pressure at all.
- Drip-stake systems like Blumat rely on soil moisture tension and work well for single pots, but don't scale as easily to trays of multiple plants.
- Timer-driven drip irrigation kits need a tap connection or mains-powered pump, which is one more thing to fail while nobody's home to notice.

Usage guidance
Set it up a day or two before you leave so you can check it's working properly.
Levelling
Use the included spirit level to make sure the valve sits level in the tray - an uneven base is the most common reason these systems misread the water level.
Filling the reservoir
Fill your container (minimum 8 gallons / roughly 30 litres) with water or diluted feed and position it above or level with the tray.
Connecting up
Feed the pipe through the grommet into the container, fit the golf filter to keep debris out, and connect the other end to the AQUAvalve5.
Testing before you go
Let the tray fill and drain at least once before leaving, to confirm the valve is cycling correctly.
