Usage guidance
Mixing and dosing
Mix VBX at 5–8 grams per 4 litres of water (1.25–2g per litre). Start at the lower end and increase based on plant response. Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved. One scoop, simple as that.
Critical step: de-chlorination
VBX contains living bacteria and fungi. Chlorine kills them. Before mixing, either leave tap water to stand for 24 hours or use Ecothrive Neutralise for instant de-chlorination. This is non-negotiable if you want the probiotic benefit.
Hydroponic systems
Feed with every watering. Works in flood-and-drain, NFT, and recirculating systems. Not suitable for dripper or drip irrigation due to particle size and microbial activity.
Soil and coco
Feed every other watering or as needed based on plant response. VBX won't burn — the probiotics help prevent nutrient lockout — but always check plant colour and leaf condition before adjusting.
All-stage feeding
