The Omega Air Cooled Reflector is a ducted grow light hood built for E40 fitting HPS, metal halide and dual-spectrum lamps. It has a sealed glass panel across the underside and a spigot at each end so ducting can be connected to draw air through the hood, carrying heat away from the lamp and out of your grow space rather than letting it radiate straight into the tent.

Usage guidance
Straightforward to fit into an existing ducting and ballast setup.
Ducting
Connect ducting to both spigots - one draws cooler air in, the other carries hot air out - and run it through the same fan and filter setup as your main extraction, or a dedicated cooling fan if you're running a separate loop.
Lamp fitting
Fit an E40-base HPS, MH or dual-spectrum lamp of the appropriate wattage for the reflector size, then connect the 5-metre IEC cable straight to your ballast.
Positioning
Hang the reflector so the glass sits level above the canopy, leaving clearance for the heat it will still radiate downward even with ducting connected.
