Harvest More Trim Bin - Sifting Trim Tray with Stainless Steel Screen
Best for: growers who want a comfortable, ergonomic trimming station that collects kief and pollen as a useful by-product of the job.
Our thoughts
This is the trim tray most people picture when they think "trim bin" - a wide lip to catch trimmings, a mesh screen underneath that sifts out kief as you work, and enough room to actually get comfortable during a long trim session. Simple idea, well executed.
The Harvest More Trim Bin is a two-piece trimming workstation: a wide, curved tray with a lip that catches leaf and trim as you cut, sitting over a lower collection tray fitted with a fine stainless steel mesh screen. As you trim, resin and kief fall through the screen into the tray below, so you end up with a usable collection of kief alongside your finished buds rather than losing it to the bin.
The standard screen is 150 micron, fine enough to sift pure kief through while keeping plant matter on top, and a 220 micron screen is available separately if you'd rather collect a coarser mix. The tray's curved shape and wide lip are designed to sit comfortably on your lap or a table edge during long trimming sessions.
How it compares
Sifting trim trays are a well-established category alongside hand trimming with scissors and bowl-style mechanical trimmers.
- Compared with trimming straight onto a flat tray, the Trim Bin's mesh screen means you collect kief as a by-product instead of sweeping it into the bin with the leaf trim.
- Compared with a bowl-style mechanical trimmer like the Trimzilla, the Trim Bin is a manual, scissors-based setup - slower per plant, but gives you full control for delicate hand-trimming work.
- Compared with cheaper unbranded trim trays, the interchangeable, replaceable screen means you're not stuck with one micron size or a screen that wears out and can't be swapped.
It won't speed up trimming the way a machine will, but for hand-trimmers who want to collect kief properly, it's a well-designed, purpose-built tool rather than an improvised tray.
Usage guidance
Simple to set up and use straight away.
Setup
Sit the mesh screen tray inside the lower collection tray, then use the upper curved tray to trim into - trimmings and resin fall through the mesh as you work.
Trimming
Work over the tray with scissors as normal; the curved lip catches falling leaf so it doesn't end up on the floor or your lap.
Collecting kief
Once you've finished a session, tap the mesh screen gently to release any resin caught in it, then scrape the collected kief from the lower tray.

- Anyone doing regular harvest sessions who wants a comfortable, purpose-built tray
- Small-scale growers who don't need a mechanical trimmer
- Growers who want an interchangeable screen to switch between fine and coarse sifting
Our take
It's a genuinely useful bit of harvest kit - not just a tray to trim over, but one that turns trimming into a two-for-one job by collecting kief at the same time.
Does exactly what it should, day in, day out - one we sell a lot of at harvest time.
