Usage guidance
Weekly preventative maintenance
Add 1ml per litre of water if your system runs at 20°C or below. Add 1.5ml per litre if it's warmer. This is your baseline — keeps pathogens at bay without drama.
Emergency treatment for active infection
If roots are turning brown and slimy, run a system flush: add 20ml per litre, run your pumps for 1–24 hours depending on system size, then drain completely. Repeat if needed. This is the nuclear option and it works.
System cleaning between crops
Same dose as emergency treatment (20ml per litre). Run for several hours to sterilise pipes, drip lines, and all contact surfaces. Kills biofilm that's built up over weeks.
Propagation and cloning
Dip cuttings in a solution of 15ml per litre for 20 seconds before applying rooting powder or gels. For rooted clones moving into the main system, add 3–5ml per litre for the first week.
Final flush before harvest
Add 3–4ml per litre for the last 3–5 days of the growing cycle. Prevents last-minute infection when plants are most vulnerable.
Grow room sterilisation
Use undiluted. Spray or fog walls, floors, and non-electrical equipment between crops. Cleans surfaces where spores can hide.
