VIVOSUN AeroZesh Fan & Filter Kits — Complete Grow Tent Ventilation with Smart Climate Control
Best for: Growers who want a complete ventilation solution that handles temperature, humidity, and odour control without the faffing about.
Our thoughts
This is one we recommend a lot to new growers building a proper setup. Everything you need is in the box, the EC motor is genuinely quieter than most alternatives at this price point, and the app integration actually works. No hunting around for compatible parts — just bolt it together and get on with it.
The VIVOSUN AeroZesh Fan & Filter Kit is a complete inline ventilation system designed to keep your grow space at the right temperature and humidity whilst controlling odour. Each kit includes a mixed-flow EC inline fan, premium carbon filter, digital speed controller, flexible aluminium ducting, and secure clamps — everything you need to pull air through your tent efficiently and quietly.
Available in 4", 6", and 8" sizes, the AeroZesh range uses PWM-controlled EC motors that run cooler and quieter than standard AC fans. Pair it with the optional E42A controller and you get real-time temperature and humidity monitoring, VPD targeting, and app-based automation via VIVOSUN's GrowHub ecosystem.
How it compares
The AeroZesh sits in the mid-range smart ventilation market, competing directly with AC Infinity and Spider Farmer but at a better entry point.
-
Price: Significantly lower than AC Infinity premium models, comparable to Spider Farmer
-
Noise: EC motor delivers 28–32 dB on 6" models — genuinely quieter than budget AC fans
-
Filter quality: RC 412 Australian virgin charcoal with 1200+ IAV — same standard as premium competitors
-
Automation: E12 basic controller included; upgrade to E42A for app control and VPD targeting
-
Ecosystem: Integrates with GrowHub for unified climate management across lights, fans, and humidifiers
Usage guidance
Finding your size
The golden rule is 1–2 complete air changes per minute. Measure your tent volume, multiply by 1.5, and that's your target CFM. A 4" works for small spaces up to 2x2m, 6" handles 3x3m to 4x4m comfortably, and 8" is your choice for larger rooms or longer ductwork runs.
Installation
Pull air through the filter, not push. Mount the carbon filter inside the tent at the highest point, run ducting from the filter to the fan outside, then exhaust into the void. The mixed-flow design handles longer runs better than centrifugal fans, so don't worry about distance.
Running the fan
The E12 controller offers ten speed settings. Start at 60–70% and adjust based on temperature. The E42A upgrade adds a temperature and humidity probe, so you can set it to target your VPD automatically — especially useful if you're multitasking or away from the tent.
Filter maintenance
Replace your carbon filter every 6–12 months depending on humidity and intensity of use. If odours are bleeding out, it's time for a fresh one. Routine checks cost nothing and save headaches.

Who this is for
- First-time growers building a complete tent setup who don't want to source five separate parts
- Growers in noise-sensitive environments (urban areas, shared properties) — the EC motor is noticeably quieter
- Anyone with existing VIVOSUN kit (lights, humidifiers) who wants unified ecosystem control
- Experienced growers replacing worn ventilation and wanting better automation than their old AC fans
- Budget-conscious buyers who refuse to compromise on filter quality or motor efficiency
Our take
This is a proper ventilation kit that does the job without overcomplicating things or leaving you with incompatible parts scattered across the workbench. The EC motor genuinely runs quieter, the carbon filter is solid quality, and the price-to-performance ratio beats most competitors at this tier.
If you're setting up a grow tent and want everything in one box — fan, filter, ducting, controller, the lot — this is a good time to buy while stock lasts. Worth picking up.
