Twister Trimmer T4 Wet — Automatic Plant Trimming Machine for Medium to Large-Scale Growers
Best for: Medium to large-scale growers who need to process wet plant material quickly without sacrificing quality or spending weeks hand-trimming
Our thoughts
The T4 is industry-standard for good reason. It's genuinely the workhorse trimmer — handles wet and dry with equal competence, scales beautifully if you chain them together, and holds its trim quality tight. If you're bottlenecked on labour during harvest, this shifts that problem. One we see serious growers invest in and keep for years.
The Twister Trimmer T4 Wet is a professional-grade automatic trimming machine engineered to process up to 23 pounds (approximately 10–11 kg) of wet plant material per hour with minimal human handling. It uses variable-speed blade and tumbler technology to deliver consistent, clean cuts whilst preserving the delicate structure and composition of your harvested foliage. Built for continuous duty cycles, the T4 handles both wet and dry trimming by simply adjusting speed settings — no tool swaps required.
This is a machine that solves a real problem: the labour bottleneck. Hand-trimming crews are expensive, slow, and unreliable. The T4 sits in the sweet spot between small hobby trimmers and industrial-scale systems, making it the number one purchased trimmer across the industry for growers operating at scale.
How it compares
The T4 sits in the premium mid-tier of commercial trimming equipment, competing directly with machines like the CenturionPro Mini and Triminator Hybrid.
-
Processing capacity: 23 lbs/hr wet (vs. 35 lbs/hr for CenturionPro Mini) — the T4 is slightly more conservative but prioritises trim quality and resin preservation
-
Speed control: 36 distinct trimming styles through variable-speed blade and tumbler adjustment; competitors typically offer fewer combinations
-
Scalability: Chain up to three T4 units for 69+ lbs/hr total throughput without labour scaling — most competitors can't stack this efficiently
-
Wet and dry capability: Handles both modes with a single tumbler swap; some competitors specialise in one or the other
-
Build quality: Stainless steel construction, food-grade bearings, nitrided steel blades — engineered for continuous harvest cycles, not weekend use
Usage guidance
The T4 works across wet and dry workflows with the same machine.
Wet trimming (primary mode)
Wet plant material is denser and more forgiving because of its moisture content. Load material into the tumbler, set blade and tumbler speed to mid-high settings, and let it run. You'll process up to 23 lbs per hour with a tight, consistent cut. The SoftTumble™ technology reduces wall crawl, so material flows smoothly without bruising. Wet trimming is the path of least resistance and where most growers start.
Dry trimming
Switch the tumbler and dial down blade and tumbler speeds to gentle settings. Dry material is fragile — lower moisture content (11–13% is ideal) means you need less aggressive contact to avoid over-processing. The variable speed control gives you the precision to trim delicate foliage without over-handling. Processing speed drops to roughly 6–7 lbs/hr, but quality and material integrity stay intact.
Hybrid or semi-dry material
The T4 bridges wet and dry seamlessly. If your material is somewhere in between, adjust speeds accordingly. This is where the 36 trim styles shine — you're not locked into one approach.
Trim collection and processing
The T4 pairs with a leaf collector vacuum (sold separately) and optional Trim Saver™ system for closed-loop collection. Trim is captured in the included 300 micron collection bag, with finer 70 and 40 micron options available if you're targeting extraction-ready material. The Trim Saver uses radial cyclone technology to separate and preserve trim without impeller damage, maximising its value for secondary processing.
Scaling for higher throughput
If you're processing multiple harvests or larger volumes, chain two or three T4 units together with Twister Conveyors. Two T4s running in parallel process up to 46 lbs/hr wet; three units hit 69+ lbs/hr. No additional labour needed — material moves through continuously.

Who this is for
- Medium to large-scale growers processing multiple harvests per year who are currently hand-trimming or underutilising labour
- Operations bottlenecked on harvest processing — the T4 replaces a 3–5 person trim crew
- Growers scaling from small to commercial production who need gear that grows with them (chain units together as volume increases)
- Facilities in continuous or staggered harvest cycles requiring reliable, low-maintenance equipment
- Anyone needing to trim both wet and dry material without buying separate machines
- Growers prioritising trim quality and material preservation over raw speed
Particularly well suited to operations processing 100+ lbs of material per harvest, where labour costs and consistency matter as much as throughput.
Our take
The T4 is the machine that pays for itself through labour savings alone. It's not the cheapest trimmer on the market, but it's the one that works — day in, day out, harvest after harvest. Build quality is proper: stainless steel construction, no greasing, sealed bearings, nitrided blades that hold a tight cut. The variable speed control is genuinely useful, not a gimmick. And the scalability is where it gets clever — start with one unit, add a second when volume grows, add a third if you're lucky. No redesign, no new space planning, just more throughput.
If you're still hand-trimming at scale or running a crew that's costing you more than this machine, this is worth picking up. Good time to buy while clearance stock lasts.
