Plagron Terra Bloom — One-Part Mineral Nutrient for the Flowering Phase
Best for: Soil growers who want fast results and straightforward feeding without mixing A and B bottles
Our thoughts
Terra Bloom is the kind of nutrient that just works. It's a proper mineral-based bloom feed that doesn't overcomplicate things, self-buffers its own pH so you're not constantly adjusting, and it's reasonably priced for what you get. One part, no guesswork, clean results — this is why growers come back to it.
Plagron Terra Bloom is a concentrated mineral nutrient designed specifically for the flowering phase. It's a one-part liquid system that delivers all the phosphorus and potassium your plants need to flower properly, without the fuss of balancing multiple bottles. Direct mineral absorption means faster uptake, no residue clogging your dripper lines, and full control over what your plants actually get.
How it compares
This sits in the professional mineral nutrient tier — straightforward and reliable.
- Mineral-based for instant plant uptake, unlike organic feeds that rely on soil microbes
- Self-buffers pH between 6.0–6.5 automatically — less monitoring headache
- One-part system beats A/B mixing for simplicity and consistency
- Chelated trace elements stay available across a wider pH range
- Leaves no residue in irrigation systems — clean for automated setups
Compared to organic alternatives like BioBizz Bio-Bloom, Terra Bloom gives you faster nutrient uptake and precision control. Compared to more expensive branded systems, you're getting the same functional performance without the markup.
Usage guidance
Standard dosing
Add 5ml per litre of water throughout the entire flowering phase. Use this solution each time you irrigate. Maximum concentration is 20ml per gallon (roughly 5ml per litre) — don't exceed this.
Timing
Start Terra Bloom from the first day of flowering. If you're using a pre-fertilised substrate, you may hold off a week or two depending on how rich the medium is.
Hand watering or drip irrigation
Works cleanly in both. Mix fresh batches when you water — mixed solution stays stable for about a week, though pH may creep up slowly. Monitor and adjust if needed.
Combination feeding
Terra Bloom works on its own, but many growers pair it with Plagron additives like Green Sensation or Power Buds for extra colour, resin, and density. Not essential, but worth exploring once you've got Terra Bloom dialled in.

- Indoor cultivators with drip systems who need clean, residue-free nutrients
- Anyone frustrated by A/B mixing or complex feeding schedules
- Growers using UK tap water who want a formula that actually handles hard water chemistry
Particularly suited to setups where simplicity and repeatability matter more than organic certification.
Our take
This is a proven bloom nutrient that's been backing up professional growers for 25 years. It does what it says, doesn't complicate the job, and won't empty your wallet. The pH self-buffering alone saves you a lot of guesswork.
If you're running soil and want reliable flowering results without the faff, worth picking up. Does exactly what it should, week in, week out.
