FloraFlex Foliar Bloom - Fast-Acting Foliar Spray for Flowering Plants
Best for: growers who want a fast top-up of nutrition straight to the leaf during early-to-mid flower, on top of their normal root feed.
Our thoughts
Think of this as a top-up, not a replacement for your root feed. Sprayed on the leaf, it gets absorbed fast through the stomata, which is handy if you want a quick response without waiting for a root feed change to work through the whole plant. Keep your root feeding programme as the main event and use this to support it through the flower transition.
FloraFlex Foliar Bloom is a foliar (leaf-applied) nutrient spray designed to support plants through the transition into and through early-to-mid flower. Rather than travelling up through the roots and stem, the nutrients are absorbed directly through the stomata on the leaf surface, which gives a faster response than a root feed adjustment alone.
It's formulated to slot in alongside FloraFlex's own B1/B2 bloom base and Full Tilt finisher, giving growers running that system an extra route to support flower stacking and overall plant health without disturbing the root zone or reservoir chemistry.
How it compares
Foliar feeding is a supplement to root feeding, not a substitute for it, and most bloom-stage foliar sprays work on the same basic principle.
- Vs relying on root feed alone: foliar spraying gives a much faster uptake route when a plant needs a quick top-up during a stressful transition
- Vs other bloom foliar sprays such as those from Optic Foliar or CANNA: same leaf-uptake principle, FloraFlex's version is built to pair specifically with its own B1/B2/Full Tilt feed schedule
- Vs mixing your own foliar spray from base nutrients: a dedicated foliar formula is diluted and balanced for leaf application, which reduces the risk of leaf burn from an over-strength mix
It won't carry a flowering plant on its own, but as a supporting spray during the bloom transition it earns its place in the feeding schedule.
Usage guidance
A little goes a long way with foliar sprays, and timing matters more than with root feeding.
Mixing and spraying
Dilute according to the FloraFlex feed chart and apply with a fine mist sprayer, covering the underside of leaves where most stomata are, not just the top surface.
Timing
Spray early in the light cycle or under low light, never under intense direct light, since wet leaves under strong light can scorch.
Frequency
Use as a supplement alongside your normal root feed through the early-to-mid flower stage, not as a daily replacement for it.

Who this is for
- Growers already running FloraFlex's B1/B2/Full Tilt bloom feed schedule
- Anyone wanting a fast-response supplement during the flower transition
- Growers who prefer a two-pronged root plus foliar feeding approach
Best suited to growers looking for a supporting spray, not a standalone bloom feed.
Our take
As a supplement to a proper root feeding schedule, this does a specific job well: fast nutrient delivery when a flowering plant needs it. It's not going to replace your base nutrients, and it isn't trying to.
One we sell a lot of alongside FloraFlex's bloom range. Worth having in the cupboard for the flower transition.
