Emerald Harvest Micro - Core Macro and Micronutrient Base
Best for: growers running the Emerald Harvest 3-part system who need the micronutrient backbone that Grow and Bloom build on.
Our thoughts
Micro is the unglamorous but essential part of any 3-part system, it's not the one that gets talked about, but skip it and the other two bottles don't work properly. Emerald Harvest's version delivers a genuinely broad spread of nutrients rather than cutting corners on the micronutrient side.
Emerald Harvest Micro is the nitrogen and micronutrient component of the brand's Grow, Micro, Bloom 3-part base system. It supplies nine different macro- and micronutrients that plants need in smaller quantities but can't do without, calcium, iron and other trace elements included, and works alongside Grow and Bloom to deliver a complete feeding programme across the full grow cycle.
Because it's part of a 3-part system rather than a fixed-ratio all-in-one, Micro stays fairly constant in your feed schedule while the Grow-to-Bloom ratio shifts as plants move from vegetative growth into flowering.
How it compares
As the "always-on" component of a 3-part system, Micro is best judged against the equivalent bottle in competing lines.
- General Hydroponics' FloraMicro is the direct equivalent in the Flora series, both brands sit under the same parent company and follow a similar 3-part logic.
- Advanced Nutrients' pH Perfect Micro includes automatic pH buffering, which Emerald Harvest's version doesn't, so manual pH checks are still needed.
- All-in-one single-bottle nutrients skip this complexity entirely but give you less control over the balance between macro and micronutrients through the cycle.
You're trading a bit of mixing complexity for finer control over your feed, which is the whole point of running a 3-part system.
Usage guidance
Micro is used at every feed, throughout the grow cycle, alongside Grow and Bloom.
Mixing order
Always add Micro to water first, before Grow or Bloom, and mix thoroughly before adding the next part to avoid the concentrates reacting directly with each other.
Feeding ratio
Keep Micro fairly constant through the cycle while adjusting the Grow-to-Bloom balance as plants move from vegetative growth into flowering.
pH
Check pH after fully mixing all three parts, aim for 5.8-6.3 in coco or soilless media.
Technical specifications

Who this is for
- Growers running the full Emerald Harvest Grow, Micro, Bloom system
- Anyone who wants tighter control over macro and micronutrient balance than a single-bottle feed allows
- Coco, rockwool and hydro growers who don't mind mixing three parts per feed
Best suited to growers who are committed to the 3-part approach rather than looking for a one-bottle shortcut.
Our take
Micro isn't exciting, but it's the bottle that makes the other two work properly. A broad nutrient spread here means fewer deficiency surprises later in the grow.
Does exactly what it should, day in, day out, worth picking up as the base of a proper 3-part feed schedule.
